Msgr. Paul Tighe - "A View from the Vatican: The Catholic Church’s Emerging Presence in a Digital World"
Pontifical Council for Social Communications
Monsignor Paul Tighe currently serves as Secretary to the Pontifical Council for Social Communications (PCCS), a position to which Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI appointed him in 2007. Prior to this assignment as a senior media advisor at the Vatican, Msgr. Tighe worked as the Director of the Office for Public Affairs at the Archdiocese of Dublin. A particular focus of the work of the PCCS in recent years has been to support and encourage Catholic institutions and individuals globally in their efforts to establish the presence of the church in the digital world and to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
For the third straight year, the Loyola Marymount University School of Education has generously donated their venue and supported this event. We are grateful for their contributions to Catholic education in Los Angeles and continuing support of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles!
