April Mallare

Mrs. Mallare teaches 2nd grade at St. Mary Magdalen and has been teaching for 8 years. Early in her career, she understood the necessity of integrating technology into the classroom. Mrs. Mallare participated in the Saint Katherine Drexel Initiative, a technology initiative with the San Jose Archdiocese. She implemented the initiative at Holy Spirit (San Jose, CA) and Our Lady of Grace (Encino, CA) by developing K-2 technology program, leading the STEM program, and provided technology training for teachers. Mrs. Mallare has also presented at NCEA, as well as the 2015 C3 Technology Conference. She is a San Jose native but relocated to Southern California in 2015 and is excited to share her knowledge and experience.
