Eric Wendland

Mr. Wendland is in his seventh year of teaching and fifth at Mater Dei High School, located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange.  While at Mater Dei, he has been teaching science and implementing new technology in a one-to-one environment (utilizing iPads).  As an Apple teacher in an Apple Distinguished School, Mr. Wendland has developed a repository of technological tools and strategies to draw from in his daily teaching and curriculum planning.  The use of these tools has shifted the environment in his classroom from teacher-centered instruction towards a student-centered approach, with an emphasis on collaborative and project based learning.
