Josh Ornelas

Josh Ornelas has worked in education since 2009, focusing in on Catholic schools in 2010.  He is a member of Cerritos College’s Educational Technology Program Advisory Committee for the 2016-2017 school year, serves as a Schoology Ambassador, and is a doctoral candidate for the P-12 Leadership program at CSU Fullerton.  As the Director of Technology for St. Anthony High School in Long Beach for the last 6 years he was able to develop and successfully implement the iPads For All Program in 2012.  Mr.Ornelas is committed to using technology as a tool to unlock the full potential of each students learning and creativity.

Wait, what is PBL? This session will give participants an understanding of what PBL is as well as various strategies of how to integrate these meaningful and purposeful strategies into your classroom. Lastly, you will hear from educators who have successfully integrated PBL into their classrooms and how the addition of faith has assisted their students with achieving the learning goals.
