Laura Arceneaux

Laura Arceneaux has been in education for nearly twenty years, and has taught in the ADLA for nearly fifteen years. She has taught students in grades 4-12, served as Technology Coordinator, and also served as STEP Coordinator. Technology is an integral part of her classroom, and supports her ability to address the needs of all her students. Her training in differentiated instruction was as a result of a five-year principalship at a specialized school for students with learning disabilities.


Intro to Microsoft Word

Participants will be walked through, step-by-step, the basic features of Microsoft Word–creating, modifying and printing documents; basic formatting; basic editing; and organizing electronic folders for easy retrieval. They will leave with a better understanding of the basic features of Microsoft Word.


Intro to Microsoft Excel

Skill Level: Beginner/Intermediate

Audience:  Everyone!

Participants will be walked through, step-by-step, the basic features of Microsoft Excel–navigating the interface; customizing toolbars; creating and entering data in a worksheet; formatting a worksheet. They will leave with a better understanding of the basic features of Microsoft Excel.


Intro to Microsoft PowerPoint

Skill Level: Beginner/Intermediate

Audience:  Everyone!

Participants will be walked through, step-by-step, the basic features of Microsoft PowerPoint–creating slideshows; organizing and formatting slides; presentation tips. They will leave with a better understanding of the basic features of Microsoft PowerPoint.
